GeoMarket Rules
Rules and conditions governing peer-to-peer trading of GPX units and digital asset holdings on GeoPixo.
1. Eligible Listings
Users may list Liquid GPX (LGX) or Solid GPX (SGX) holdings representing specific m² cells for peer-to-peer sale. Listings must represent assets the user currently owns and that are not subject to an active lock, exit request, financing contract, or credit collateral. Duplicate listings are prohibited.
2. Pricing and Fees
Sellers set their own asking price. GeoPixo displays the current reference price as a contextual indicator only — it does not mandate pricing. A platform fee is deducted from each completed trade (see current fee schedule in Platform Settings). Additional operational fees may apply. All fees are disclosed at time of listing creation.
Fixed Price (MVP)
Seller sets a fixed price; buyer accepts or passes. Available now.
Offers (V1)
Buyers may submit non-binding offers for seller consideration. Coming soon.
Auction (V2)
Time-limited auction format with floor price. Future roadmap.
3. Settlement and Escrow
Upon a buyer accepting a listing, the payment (in Liquid GPX) is held in escrow by the platform. Ownership transfer (SGX or LGX) is executed atomically. If settlement fails for any technical reason, funds are returned to the buyer automatically. GeoPixo acts as intermediary only and does not guarantee the value of traded assets.
4. Disputes and Cancellations
Sellers may cancel an active listing at any time before a buyer accepts. Post-acceptance cancellations are subject to review. Users who believe a trade was executed in error may submit a dispute within 48 hours via the platform's dispute form. Disputes are reviewed by the Operations team; outcomes are final and audit-logged. Fraudulent dispute submissions may result in account suspension.
Price Discovery Notice
The GeoMarket price is determined entirely by willing buyers and sellers. Floor price, last sale price, and volume data are displayed for informational purposes only. This data does not constitute a financial valuation or investment guidance.
