GIP Management Policy
How the GIP Growth Pool is funded, managed, and how platform users participate in it.
GIP participation does not constitute an investment contract, equity stake, or guaranteed return. GIP is a platform-managed allocation pool designed to grow platform utility value. This is not investment advice.
1. What is the GIP?
The GIP Growth Pool is a platform-level reserve funded by a share of every primary and GeoMarket transaction. It represents a portion of platform revenue allocated for reinvestment into new asset acquisitions, platform operations, and ecosystem growth. The GIP is not a fund managed on behalf of users — it is a platform treasury mechanism for growth and asset expansion.
2. Funding Mechanism
A defined percentage of each transaction (primary GPX purchase, GeoMarket trade, and exit fee) is automatically allocated to the GIP ledger. This allocation is immutably recorded per transaction. The current allocation percentages are disclosed in the Platform Settings page and may be adjusted by governance with 30 days notice.
3. User GIP Indicators
Users holding Solid GPX (SGX) are shown a GIP impact indicator in their dashboard. This indicator reflects their proportional share of the cumulative GIP contributions made through their transactions. It is a representation of platform contribution, not a redeemable balance. GIP growth is displayed as an informational metric only.

4. Governance and Transparency
GIP balances, allocation rules, and deployment decisions are logged in the platform's governance ledger and disclosed in the Transparency Center. Material changes to GIP allocation percentages require dual-admin approval and are announced 30 days in advance. Users may request a read-only GIP history report via the Document Center.
